Varsity Soccer Goalie, Victor High School Senior Portraits

First of all, I know I wouldn't want to play soccer against him! At 6'3''  he sure makes an imposing goalie. But off the field, Matt is a really nice guy interested in studying engineering next year.

For his Victor High School Senior photos, we went to two locations. First, we started in the village of Victor, near some property his grandfather once owned. Matt seemed most comfortable in his hoodie, and I can't blame him.

We finished up around sunset on the soccer field for some epic action shots. The last shot of the day was in the dugout, easily one of my favorites of the session. Check 'em out and wish Matt a great season and senior year!

Penfield High School Senior Portraits: Shannon

Shannon is smart and sweet. She enjoys time with friends on adventures all around town and drawing. The crazy part, is that she and her siblings were some of my very first clients over 5 years ago. Now she's part of the Class of 2018, considering going into the field of nursing – and I'm totally aging myself.

We met up with her this month to create some amazing senior pictures for her. We had a lot of fun finding beautiful light and great locations at the George Eastman Museum.

As you can see, we had no trouble with either. It helps that Shannon's awesome smile lights up her portraits and everyone around her.

Thanks, Shannon for a great evening of portraits, and best wishes for a great senior year!

Rush Henrietta Senior Photos, Shannon Part I

What do you get when you combine an intelligent, beautiful and quirky (her word) girl, a ukulele, a stage and a stream? Oh and grandma, can't forget grandma.

The answer: amazing pictures and too much fun creating them!

Every senior session is unique, but this is the first time grandma played such a large roll in the story. We were able to include soooooo many of Shannon's talents and interests, from dance and singing, to ukulele and cosplay, and to top it off we splashed in Irondequoit Creek.

The story of the splashing is captured for eternity in the fusion video created from our day together. For starters, I thought I'd share some of our favorite photos. In part 2, we'll share the video!

So sit back, and enjoy! If you love these photos, leave a comment for Shannon!

Rush Henrietta High School Senior Portrait: Jimmy

It's always a special honor to photograph siblings. It's also a fun challenge. We photographed Rebecca's senior portraits two years ago, so it was great to hear about what she is up to now.

But on to her younger brother Jimmy, who is now a senior. Both Rebecca and Jimmy are runners, so of course we wanted to make sure their two sessions were a little different.

Jimmy's favorite place to run is Mendon Ponds, so we spent a nice Fall afternoon there. He has such a natural, easy going smile. I also really love that red hair!

Enjoy, and good luck in your next race Jimmy!

Fairport High School Senior Photos: Rena

People tell her she has an amazing smile and gorgeous eyes. They're not wrong. Rena's also super fun to be around, creative and has a beautiful soul.

Her senior portrait session had a little bit of everything! We did a combination of urban and rural, to show multiple sides of her personality. We even included Tripp, the family dog in some images, and also photographed a great, three generations portrait with mom and grandma!

We had a really nice evening, despite the wind, and Rena just rocked the whole shoot. I love the colors and expressions, and man was this fun! Leave Rena some love in the comments if you enjoy these images as much as we do.  :)

Graffiti Senior Portraits, Pittsford Sutherland High School

Tristin is in her senior year at Pittsford Sutherland high school. She's also an artist, and has many interests ranging from the ukelele to fishing.

She wanted something unique and fun, so for her senior portrait session we went on an adventure! We found some amazing, somewhat hidden graffiti in Rochester, where she rocked every outfit she brought like a #girlboss.

We had so much fun, and I really believe that shows clearly in these images. Check them out and leave Tristin some love in the comments.

Have a great senior year girl!

Victor High School Senior Portraits: Rachel

Rachel is a gorgeous girl with a beautiful smile and an adventurous spirit. So naturally, we went on a little adventure for her senior pictures.

This bubbly Victor High School student led us on a tour of part of the Auburn Trails in search of an old abandoned house at the end of this particular trail. Unfortunately we took a wrong turn somewhere and never found the house, but we did find some spectacular spots for her portraits anyway!

We found pretty wildflowers and fun trails paths through the woods. The black eyed susans were exactly the right color we were hoping to find. And her big teddy bear of a dog, Coda, was the best (and most lovable) accessory to her portraits.

Have a fun-filled Senior year Rachel!

Victor High School Senior Portraits: Justin

I'd like you to meet Justin, and his adorable lab, Micco!

This right here is what all senior sessions should be... a little bit of adventure, and a lot of fun! We explored the village of Victor and found some great settings for Justin.

We showed off his casual side, got a little patriotic, and then went up the hill to Ganondagan where you can find him running with the cross-country team. He told me about this great view, and we managed to get there right at sunset. Perfect timing. :)

Have a great senior year Justin, and if you are looking for something a little different for your senior portraits, say hello!

Cheers!

Pittsford High School Senior Pictures: Sara

Sara described herself to us as cheerful, loyal, and a bit shy. She did start out a little shy at the start, but by the end of her senior portrait session she was anything but.

Some of her interests include reading, writing and photography. A girl after our own hearts, we explored the gardens at the George Eastman Museum, books and cameras in hand!

She's just moved here from Switzerland, (yes, the country) and is really looking forward to experiencing what it's like to be a high school senior in an American high school.

What an adventure and an exciting time she's going to have! Have a great year Sara!
